It all started on 28 December 2024, on a tropical beach in Sri Lanka, when Katherine asked Yannick about his 2025 resolution...
「學習講流利廣東話」是我們創作以廣東話及香港為主題內容的初衷。Yannick 一開始走遍社區，與街坊交流、學習語言，甚至模仿知名歌手及香港流行文化；而 Katherine 則堅持每天協助他拍攝影片，確保他必須每天運用廣東話。有賴大家的喜愛與分享，在短短三個月內便獲得超過十萬位觀眾的追隨與支持。
“Learning to speak fluent Cantonese” was what first inspired us to create content focused on Cantonese and Hong Kong. Yannick began by exploring our neighbourhoods, chatting with locals, picking up the language, and even imitating famous singers and popular memes; while Katherine dedicated herself to producing daily videos with him, making sure he had no excuse not to practise! Thanks to the overwhelming support from our followers, we were incredibly fortunate to reach 100,000 supporters on social media within our first three months.
從文化傳承與生活點滴，到關人文關懷與社會價值，我們期望以創作為橋樑，為觀眾帶來歡樂與力量，也為大眾留下一⼃⼁⼀乛思索的空間。希望善用社交平台上的影響力，推動正面而有意義的對話，讓人與人之間更靠近，情感與心意更相連。
We care deeply about a wide range of topics in our society: from cultural preservation to the small, everyday things that make life meaningful, as well as the causes that reflect our shared humanity. Through our content, we hope not only to bring joy and positivity to our viewers, but also to create space for reflection: to use our voice on social media to raise awareness for the things that truly matter, and to nurture stronger bonds with those around us.
創作以香港為起點，卻不止於此。我們關注世界各地香港人的故事、語言、文化與身份認同，同時融入 Yannick 德國及法國背景，促進真誠的文化交流。我們亦不定期與本地慈善機構、具理念的各界人士及品牌合作，共同創作具意義、有價值的內容。
Although our videos are about Hong Kong, they aren’t limited to Hong Kong. We explore the lives of Hongkongers and the diaspora around the world, our language, stories, community, and identity, all while sharing and exchanging a bit of Yannick’s German and French heritage. Along the way, we also collaborate with local charities, storytellers, and brands to create meaningful content together.
